The House in the Garden, QI Yuan Work-Live Space.
Viewed from the entrance, the small courtyard resembles a miniature version of a typical Jiangnan Garden, with the Moon Cave Gate reflecting the lush vegetation surrounding it.
Suzhou gardens are known for their emphasis on framing the landscape; each door and window acts as a frame that allows plants to grow freely in the space.
The designers sought minimal intervention with this design approach. As guests delve deeper into the garden, they will discover a larger, hidden courtyard at the far end.
This carefully designed landscape exudes a rich natural atmosphere. Different lights reflecting on the water surface infuse the space with diverse energies.
The design lines of this space are simple and functional, adapted to contemporary living, while emphasizing the pursuit of a quality lifestyle through classic furniture design.
All shapes, colors, materials, and the interplay of light and shadow, originating from nature, interconnect and transform when connected to the human spirit.
